HUNTINGTON, Ind. — Student Government Association planned a mask-making night in preparation for the Spring Formal.

During the SGA meeting on March 11, Chloe Shellenberger, chair of the student life committee, explained that the event was to be held on March 19 at 7 p.m. as a way to prepare for the Spring Formal that is to be held on March 21.
Since the Spring Formal theme this semester is masquerade ball, this will provide an opportunity for students to match the theme, as well as provide accommodation and marketing.
“There’s going to be different things to decorate the masks with mask paint, gems, and flowers,” said Shellenberger.
She went on to discuss the need for hot glue for the event, which SLC plans to borrow from places like the Education department or the Art department.
Other items on the agenda included:
- Veto on the previous meeting’s parking motion due to a lack of discussion
- Possible locations of an upcoming commuter meeting
