HUNTINGTON, Ind. – The “More Than a Dragon” celebration will bring AAPI heritage month festivities to the DC Wednesday evening.
Destiny Copeland-Rolle, the director of multicultural affairs, announced that the event was scheduled for Wednesday, April 8 at 5 p.m. in Upper DC.
Though AAPI month takes place in May, Copeland-Rolle stated that the MAC would be celebrating a month early since the academic year ends in late April.

“I like it when people get creative with the henna,” said Vanessa Gradeless, MAC president. “Let me be honest, the food is the top thing I’m looking forward to.”
The event will give students the opportunity to learn about other cultures by featuring Asian foods, cultural music, henna art, and trivia games like bingo and musical chairs.
