During the week of practices before spring break, Tom King, who coaches both the university’s cross country and track teams, announced to his runners he would retire at the conclusion of the 2016 season.
“Up until this past weekend, we’ve had a rough few weeks,” assistant coach Joanne Green said. “In the practices leading up to Saturday’s Pink Out, we talked a lot about that missing energy and how to get it back.”
