The word of words to use on any occasion.

“Dude, I was straight slimpin’ in class today!”

“Yo, that movie got me slimped out!”

“Dang, these muffins are SLIMPIN’!”

What do these phrases have in common?

Absolutely nothing.

And that’s the beauty of it.

Slimpin’. The word of words. The magnum opus of the English language. The créme de la créme. Mwah! (Chef’s kiss).

Jokes aside, slimpin’ is an entirely made-up word. It means literally nothing. And that’s why I love it so much. You can use it in whatever context and whatever meaning you want. Something is awesome? It’s slimpin’, baby! Something is lame? Dang, that’s slimpin’. You’re feeling a little funky? You’re slimped out, bro.

Rinse and repeat.

In a world of overused catch-phrases and sayings that box you into specific meanings and rules, slimpin’ offers an escape.

Regardless of how you use it, you’ll use it correctly. Because slimpin’ is what you want it to mean. Kinda slimpin’ if you ask me.

Upon further research, a bunch of hooligans decided to try and tame the wild beauty that is slimpin’. Urban Dictionary gives it a definition.

But, to me, the lack of meaning makes it so much more meaningful.

At least in my opinion anyway.
