The theatre department’s homecoming tradition continues.

Homecoming weekend is coming up fast, and many groups are preparing events for the HU community. If you enjoy a good show, come see HU’s own musical theatre group, the Troupe!

In celebration of the 70th year of HU’s Homecoming, the Troupe will be performing numbers from musicals written in the last 70 years. From Oklahoma to Pippin to Wicked, there is something for every taste. Suitable for all ages, this is a show you won’t want to miss.

The Troupe features students from a variety of majors, but they all have one uniting quality: a love for musical theatre. Senior theatre major and Troupe member Amanda Felding says, “Troupe is about connecting to others through song.”

The Troupe will perform twice on Saturday, October 5, at 1 pm and 3 pm. Both performances are absolutely free, so bring the entire family and get lost in a world of song, dance, and magic!
